Will Fischer is the director of government relations for VoteVets, which, with more than 500,000 members, is the largest progressive veterans organization in America. Prior to his work at VoteVets, Will spent nearly a decade working at the national AFL-CIO and on a variety of political, legislative, and organizing campaigns across the country. A fixture in the media and on Capitol Hill, Will's commentary has been featured on MSNBC, CNN, Fox News, and in hundreds of magazines and newspapers throughout the country. Will is a veteran of the war in Iraq where he served as a U.S. Marine. He lives and works in Washington, D.C.
