Attorney and Writer

Win Bassett is a writer and attorney whose essays have appeared in The Atlantic, the Paris Review, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and Guernica. His stories and poems have been published or are forthcoming in Image, PANK, Ruminate, and The Southern Poetry Anthology series. He’s a former assistant district attorney and serves on the PEN Prison Writing Program Fiction Committee. He is the Fiction and Poetry Editor of the Marginalia Review of Books, Managing Editor of Yale’s Letters journal, and Community Manager for Bull City Press. He’s from southwestern Virginia and is a graduate student at Yale University.
