Yiming Ma

Yiming Ma is a MBA Candidate at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, who has travelled to 20+ countries in the last three years while leading education investments for the Pearson Affordable Learning Fund in Africa and Southeast Asia. Previously, he was a consultant at McKinsey and Company in New York.

His writing has been published by Stanford Social Innovation Review, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and literary magazines such as Ricepaper. He has spoken on topics relating to education and corporate venture capital at both Oxford University and Tsinghua University’s x-lab. In 2014, he was named Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum for his work with low-cost private schools in emerging nations.

Yiming is also a published writer of creative fiction. In 2016, his story “Love | Ramen” was named a finalist for the Penguin Random House Canada Student Award for Fiction.
