Orlando Director, Organize Now Florida

Yulissa Arce is the Orlando Director at Organize Now. She joined the leadership team after serving as the Climate Change Program Manager for the Florida Institute for Reform and Empowerment (F.I.R.E.), where she led the charge for Orlando’s first ever People’s Climate March and the development of the organization's Climate Justice work. Ms. Arce professional background includes work as the Outreach Coordinator for the Orange County Property Appraiser’s office where she developed and led the outreach efforts for the agency and as the Florida State Coordinator for Mi Familia Vota Education Fund where during the 2012 General Elections, she helped registered over 40,000 people in the I-4 corridor and mobilized them to vote. Yulissa was raised in Orlando, Florida and graduated from the University of Central Florida, where she earned a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Global Sustainability at the University of South Florida. When she isn’t working, you can find Yulissa singing karaoke, practicing yoga, and spending time with her loved ones.
