Ziad Isa Khan

Doctoral Student

Ziad Isa Kahn is a doctoral student who is currently volunteering his time with local social service agencies to help develop and implement outreach programs. In his spare time he watches way too much sports and performs a mediocre stand-up act at local comedy clubs. He is not a writer by trade but believes that anyone with a voice should use it for good. He believes that it is a tragedy that so many Americans go to bed hungry every night. He believes in social services; they helped his family survive when he was a child and he knows firsthand the benefits they bring with them. He believes that too often the poor in this country are made to be scapegoats and he wants to help the good guys win. For more of Ziad; https://twitter.com/#!/Ziad_Isa_Kahn
