Ziva Eger

Chief Executive, Foreign Investments and Industrial Cooperation, Israel Ministry of Economy and Industry

Ziva Eger (Ret. Col) has been serving as Chief Executive of International Investments and Industrial Cooperation at the Israeli Ministry of Economy since October, 2014. Eger is a retired IDF Colonel, who received her BA and MA in Economics (with honors) from Tel Aviv University, an MA in Political Science from Haifa University, and another BA from the National Security College operated by the IDF. In the two years preceding this position, Ziva has been serving as Chief of Staff of the Communication and Home Front Defense offices lead by Minister Gilad Erdan, where she was in charge of the promotion and execution of comprehensive reforms in the local communication market. Prior to heading this division, Ziva directed multiple departments of the Israeli Ministry of Defense, as senior manager of the Planning, Budget and Control Department in the Directorate for Defense Research and Development (DDR&D - MAFAT) and as head of Planning, Budget, Economy and Production in the Arrow Program and Space & Satellites Program. During this period, Ziva led extensive initiatives and headed negotiations for industrial cooperation procurement among private industries, defense industries and various government agencies.
