Diablo Ballet's 21st celebration performance series at the Del Valle Theatre in Walnut Creek, California was on May 6th and 7th. Dubbed Celebrated Masters, a series of single works by choreographers Robert Dekkers, Val Caniparoli, Troy McIntyre and Arthur Saint-Leon was presented.

Fortunately, Plastic Handgun eschews musical absurdities and melodic paradoxes for experimental rock that is easy on the ears. The album is called Involuntary Memories and definitely merits the expenditure of any audiophile's limited supply of disposable time.

It all stems from a fascination with our relationship to movement. When Siobhan 'Sue' Davies CBE took her first steps on the dance stage at 17, no one assumed that the art student had never danced before. But the lack of a classical education was more freeing than restrictive, allowing her to perform and choreograph however she saw fit.

The power of harmonic sound provides an ever-present soundtrack to our lives.
