John Mulaney Gives Spot-On Relationship Advice

Watch comedian and actor John Mulaney field a range of questions about love and relationships in the latest episode of Rookie's series "Ask a Grown Man," in which adults give teens life advice.

Mulaney covers topics like how to pursue a crush, how to approach a breakup, and even how to deal with slut-shaming.

And he gives some pretty perfect advice when one teens asks if she should apologize for kissing boys at a party.

"The real solution is to not care what other people think of you," he says, adding, "Should you apologize? No. You didn't do anything wrong. You did not do anything wrong. Apologies sometimes feel like, 'Oh maybe this would diffuse the whole situation,' but apologies mean that you're admitting you've done something wrong. And you didn't."
