Good eyebrows are mostly genetic — plucking will clean things up, but it can only do so much. And no two pairs are alike for the same reason: Drake’s bushy brows might look good on him, but they’d seem funny on John Boyega’s face; Boyega’s magnificently arched, ultra-friendly brows would detract from Drake’s bad-boy cred, and so on. We hope you have two reactions to brows-ing this gallery: a newfound appreciation for geometry, and gratitude that we included exactly zero unibrows.
DRAKE
Drake must “Take Care” of his thick brows; they look like a painter’s perfectly graduated brushstroke, and strongly complement his dark beard and mustache.
ROBERT PATTINSON
Pattinson has tried some oddball hairstyles, but his eyebrows remain unchanged. They’re his most distinct feature, though we won’t discredit any other part of that made-for-Hollywood mug.
DANIEL RADCLIFFE
Radcliffe’s brows fan inward, yet they’re manicured around the perimeter. They’re a good pairing with his short scruff and textured hair.
RODRIGO SANTORO
Rodrigo Santoro stars in of one of TV’s hottest shows (HBO’s Westworld, ever heard of it?), and he’s got some of Hollywood’s most handsome brows, too. They’re understated, drawing attention to his dark brown eyes.
TOMMY LEE JONES
We almost put Josh Hartnett in this spot, but TLJ is his long lost twin, and the acting legend’s caterpillar brows have garnered far more screen time.
ZAYN MALIK
There’s mystery and agony brooding beneath those dark, slightly unkempt brows, and it’s made Zayn a fully-realized solo star.
JOHN BOYEGA
John Boyega has the complete opposite—although equally good-looking—eyebrows of Star Wars’ co-star Isaac. Boyega’s are less bushy and perfectly arched, giving him a perma-friendly gaze.
ZACHARY QUINTO
Handsome eyebrows seem requisite for being cast in a blockbuster space franchise. We can’t help but think that Zachary Quinto’s sealed the deal for him in the role of Spock for the Star Trek franchise. (But his acting’s pretty good, too.)
EUGENE LEVY
Eugene Levy’s brows are so legendary they probably have their own publicist. He’s passed on the genes to son Daniel, too.
TYSON BECKFORD
Tyson Beckford will look better at 80 than the rest of us look at 20. We credit his wide-arched eyebrows. (In addition to the other godlike features.)
