Between legends like Naomi and Kate and newcomers like Rosie and Jourdan, the U.K. knows supermodels. They proved it at the epic Closing Ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics and they're proving it once again with an impressive array of covers for the Sunday Times Style magazine's 10th Anniversary Issue.
Style, the fashion glossy of the British Sunday Times newspaper, is celebrating its tenth birthday with ten iconic cover girls, each shot in a different style. British stars like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Jourdan Dunn and Lily Cole make an appearance as do Americans Karlie Kloss and Erin Wasson. Natasha Poly, Eva Herzigova, Isabeli Fontana, Lara Stone and Liu Wen round out the group.
It may not be a Claudia-Cindy-Naomi kind of crowd (these are today's stars, not last millenium's supermodels) and the biggest faces of the industry today (Kate, Natalia, Gisele) are notably absent. But we have to commend the Sunday Times Style magazine for rounding up an outstanding group of strutters: we're big fans of multi-cover issues, the kind put out by i-D, LOVE and other arty mags each year, and this collection is no exception.
