Paris Hilton has done many things throughout her career as an heiress-turned-socialite-turned-singer. She made Juicy Couture tracksuits and Von Dutch hats “a thing,” introduced the phrase “that’s hot” into our regular vocabulary and blessed the world with her musical talents.

Monday, Aug. 22, marks the 10-year anniversary of the release of Hilton’s debut album, aptly titled, “Paris.”

The 35-year-old made sure to remind us all of her musical gift by posting about the album on Twitter. (There’s a chance she was actually prompted by this article on Thrillist that she shared before posting her own tweet.)

“Today is the #10YearAnniversary of my first album #Paris,” she wrote, posting a photo of the album cover.

“Paris” gave us gems like the breathy “Stars Are Blind” (the video for which seemed to be a reference to Chris Isaak’s wonderful “Wicked Game”) and “Nothing in This World,” the catchy pop tune that could have been an abandoned Kelly Clarkson song (which makes sense, considering both women worked with producer Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald).

In the latter video, Hilton presented herself as the subject of basically every teen male’s fantasy. Elisha Cuthbert even made an appearance!

Since releasing “Paris,” Ms. Hilton has yet to give us another full-length album, but she has been traveling the world as a DJ and putting out dance tracks, like “High Off My Love,” for our listening pleasure.

We’ll be here when you’re celebrating your album’s 20-year anniversary, Paris.
