What Happens When A Minivan With More Horsepower Than A Bugatti Veyron Does A Burnout

Dang. This Minivan Can Do One Heck Of A Burnout.

The folks at tuning company Bisimoto took it upon themselves to turn a regular old Honda Odyssey minivan into a 1,029-horsepower beast for last year's Specialty Equipment Market Association show in Las Vegas.

And now, thanks to Super Street, a magazine that covers car tuning and culture, we know what it's like to see a ridiculously powerful purple people-mover do a burnout.

Spoiler alert: It's awesome.

While electric cars like the Tesla Model S may be the future of performance, this stick shift (yes, stick shift) one-off minivan with more power than a Bugatti Veyron proves that gas engines aren't going to leave this world quietly.

Watch the video, posted by Bisimoto on Feb. 20, to see the minivan in action.
