11 Artists Who Need To Drop A New Album, Like Now

We're tired of your broken promises and stalled projects! 😒

The impatient music lover has a lot to be disappointed about this year with so many talented artists withholding their music. From Rihanna's delayed "Anti" album to Kanye West's stalled "Swish" album, for one reason or another quite a few musicians have fallen through on past promises to drop their albums.

TLC pissed a lot of people off earlier this week when they announced the album funded by fans on their Kickstarter wouldn't be released until 2016. It was originally slated for a 2015 release after raising more than $430,000, and fans expressed their discontentment with the news by using the hashtag #TLCGoingToJailParty.

TLC fans weren't the only ones who were let down this year. Frank Ocean's fans were on the edges of their seats for 31 days straight while awaiting the release of an album from the reclusive crooner after he alluded to a project dropping in July on his Tumblr page

But 2015 isn't over yet and we are very optimistic (especially since Adele got it together and decided to emerge with some new music) that new music from our favorite artists will be released soon -- at least we hope so. Here are 11 musicians we would love to drop an album so we don't have to keep listening to their old stuff on repeat for the umpteenth time.

Twitter users held a #TLCGoingToJailParty after they pushed back their crowdfunded album's released date to 2016. Fans were heated and asked for their money back. T-Boz and Chilli might want to speed up the process to appease their fans.

Honestly, Frank has avoided us long enough. He's had a few features since his 2012 debut album dropped, but it's about time for some magic to happen. What happened to that album he was supposed to drop in July? Even Adele said, "it's taking so f*****g long" for Frank to bless us. Well, he can't run from his fans forever!

Lauryn Hill has soothed our souls countless times with the incomparable, "Miseducation of Lauryn Hill," and fed us wise words with her "MTV Unplugged No. 2.0" live album. It's OK that her live performances aren't what they used to be. It may be very unlikely, but we'll forgive "L. Boogie" if she just gives us some new music.

Big Boi and André 3000 teased us when they reunited for their 20th anniversary shows last year. It's been about a decade since the duo released an album (Key & Peele may know why), and apparently that have no plans to release another album together as of yet.

Her hit song titled, "BBHMM" should really stand for "b***h better have my music." Rihanna teased us all by releasing the cover art for her eighth studio album "Anti," but we want some new music from the Bajan artist, NOW!

When can we expect "Swish," Ye? Google tells us 2015, but he recently went on the record to say the album is "far from finished." The last full project we've heard from the Chicago rapper was "Yeezus" in 2013. What gives?

Drake has been pretty active musically this year, but his long awaited "Views From The 6" album has been stalled (possibly due to issues with Cash Money Records). He's given fans hope, however, posting signs on billboards in Toronto that allude to the album dropping in the near future.

We can't get enough of this sultry vocalist, but sadly, her last album was released in 2010. From Adele to Sam Smith, Sade has inspired many of today's artists and another album to showcase her mesmerizing vocals would be heavenly.

Missy Elliott is undoubtedly one of the most underrated emcees ever, which makes us long for more of her creative flow and unique visuals. Her last album "Cookbook" dropped in 2005, but recently she was spotted recording a music video for her new song, "WTF." We hope this means an album is on the way.

The British girl group has reportedly been working on a new studio album and has been planning a comeback tour for 2016. As farfetched as this sounds, we're here for it!

No one can truly get enough of Maxwell's tantalizing vocals. He released his last album in 2009 and a new one is long overdue.

To hold you over, here's a playlist comprised of some music from aforementioned artists. Enjoy!
