Courageous Boy Reads Mean YouTube Comments To Show Bullied Kids They're Not Alone

One boy shared his own heartbreaking experiences to help lift others up.

A powerful video uploaded by YouTuber Josh Fairbanks, features the man's 11-year-old son, Logan, opening up about the cyberbullying he's experienced. Logan, who often appears in his dad's videos, reads a few of the hurtful online comments that he's received on the site in an effort to help put an end to the malicious behavior and empower others who have been bullied.

"I hope that he dies," reads one comment.

"Squeal piggy, squeal," reads another.

The words are piercing and difficult to get through. But despite seeing the harsh comments, the 11-year-old has remained resilient and concludes the video with a message of hope.

"I hope that people don't bully other people online anymore and that this [video] helps," Logan says. "And people [who] have been bullied, don't let these words affect you."

Logan's decision to make a personal video on such difficult topic is admirable and has impressed at least one person in the 11-year-old's life.

"Logan asked me to do this. As his dad, I was very hesitant [to post the video] but he insisted that if there was a chance it could help someone then why not face his online bullies and try," Fairbanks wrote in the video's description. "I hope one day I have as much courage as he does."

Keep being awesome, Logan.
