Of course it's no secret that many dog lovers regard their best friends as their furry children. So it's no surprise that dogs act the part...

...especially when it comes to being overly rambunctious, carefree, and well, just acting like a dog child. Unfortunately, this can result in numerous visits to the vet. Fortunately, most canine injuries have a happy ending and make for great stories for years to come, just like with human children.

With the help of BarkBox Facebook fans -- as well as the folks at BarkBox -- I've gathered together a selection of cute photos of dogs being dogs.
