Feeling stuck can be the most frustrating feeling in the world and by definition it depicts a picture of dis-empowerment and lack of progress, but it doesn't have to be that way. Whether you feel stuck in a relationship, a job, your life purpose, or just feel stuck in life in general, these three questions are enough to create the shifts you need to begin moving forward again.

1. What do I want?
When you are feeling stuck in a particular area or situation in your life, your thoughts are likely plagued with where you are and where you don't want to be. You want to solve this dreaded problem and regardless of how many times you piece things together you can't quite figure out how to break free. The problem with this scenario is that by constantly focusing on where you are now, you are repeating the same situation because it is what you expect. After a certain amount of time the "stuckness" becomes a part of your natural landscape and regardless of how much you want to break free, you settle for what's in front of you.

It's time to break up the monotony of those thoughts and ask yourself what it is that you truly want? If you feel stuck in a crappy job that is stifling your creativity, what would you rather have instead? What does your ideal job, life, or relationship look and feel like? If you don't know what you want, the chances of you getting it are slim to none, so dust off your awesome imagination muscles and tap into what you really desire for your life. When you do that you create a shift not only in how you feel, but also in the environment around you and new opportunities and ideas begin to flow.

2. What do I need to do right now that I've been avoiding?

Feeling stuck often comes with a side of procrastination because you may be afraid of being disappointed... again. You may feel like you've tried everything and nothing works or you've thought your way around this issue so many times you don't even know what to do next. The problem isn't that you don't know what to do. The problem is likely that you are avoiding doing the thing that you know will help you break free.

Whether you are procrastinating out of fear of disappointment, the unknown, or something else entirely, it's time to stop. Take a moment to listen to your intuition and take action. It might involve making a phone call, reaching out for help, or simply facing a situation you've been dreading for fear of how it might turn out. Take action and watch the Universe work its magic to help support you in your cause. I promise that is the secret to breaking free from stuck and creating a life you love.

Life is too short to continue feeling stuck and as if you have no options. The truth is you have an unlimited power that lies within you to create exactly the life experience you desire, but you can't get there without first knowing what you want and taking action.

You deserve to experience the magic of life and by asking the two simple questions above, you are well on your way to feeling the shift that will change your life forever.
