Snapchat must be so 2014 because MTV just announced the 2015 Video Music Award nominees via Apple Music's Beats 1 “Charts” show on Tuesday.
The network, which likes to pretend it still has a connection to music, continues to hand out Moonmen to artists three decades after its first award show in 1984.
This year's nominees include Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift, who both racked up four nominations, as did Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars, and Beyoncé, who racked up three nominations.
Oh, and after no one hosted last year, MTV decided to bring back Ms. VMA herself -- Miley Cyrus -- to host this year's awards.
