Nestled in the foothills of the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains, Greenville is quickly earning a reputation as one of America's hottest destinations. Although South Carolina makes us think of colonial times (horse-drawn carriages, plantations, cotton fields and the like), the tree-lined streets of Greenville are chock full of southern charm and natural beauty for experience that will be nothing short of enchanting.

Restaurants and shops thrive in a downtown area that Forbes calls one of America's Best Downtowns. The perfect starting point to see for yourself is at Augusta Twenty, recognized by ELLE magazine as one of the top 50 boutiques in the country. Owner Jennifer Houde and manager Melissa Stroud expertly help each client build a flattering and fashion-forward wardrobe from their eclectic collection of women's clothing and accessories (and they're fun to chat with while you browse!)

The Blue Ridge mountains surround Greenville, but you're never far from breathtaking views. Downtown features Falls Park on Reedy where the Reedy River meanders its way past the quaint streets. Don't miss Liberty Bridge, a one-of-a-kind floating suspension brigde (we won't judge if you take in the view and relax under a shady tree nearby). If you're feeling more adventurous, a bike ride on the Swamp Rabbit Trail is also a great way to see the sites while getting your workout in!

Head over to Main Street as you continue downtown on your way to WISH, a contemporary and affordable boutique for the savvy and stylish shopper in everyone. Located at 103 North Main Street, here's where you'll find up-and-coming designers' pieces and get a hint of local style. While you're there, pick up your next date night outfit and the brunch ensemble you'll don the morning after (all without breaking the bank!)

Fuel up with lunch only a few steps away at Tupelo Honey Café, which serves homemade southern comfort food that is mouth-wateringly fresh. Everything your alter Southern ego desires, from fried chicken to hot biscuits with honey, can be found here. Breakfast-lovers rejoice! You can enjoy the famous sweet potato pancakes and brunch menu all day. The unique flavors on the menu aren't as much of a mystery as they may originally seem - Executive Chef Brian Sonoskus is a man of the world and pulls from Pennsylvania Dutch, Polish, and Latin American cuisines to add to southern classics.

After taking time to appreciate the food, stop by Cone & Coleman. This boutique prides itself on first-class service, and owners Janna Cone and Jennifer Coleman artfully select merchandise that suits everyone - from businesswoman to women with a classic sense of style.
