For the mere fact that it involved actual discussion of relevant issues, last night's Democratic debate was a welcomed reprieve from the past two circus-like GOP debates. And the clever women of Twitter only made it more enjoyable.
While we would have preferred more mention of women's reproductive rights, there were still plenty of highlights throughout the night. The five candidates discussed important issues including black lives matter, national security, Wall Street reform and paid family leave.
From serious topics like health care and college affordability to the tired discussion of Hillary's emails and each candidate's on-stage quirks, commentary from the ladies of Twitter definitely upped the entertainment factor throughout the two-and-a-half-hour debate.
