To spread kindness, gratitude and acts of good while highlighting the work of great charities.

We want to start a wildfire of kindness and positivity online and in everyday life.

So if you are tired of negativity, strife & division—especially on social media—

It’s easy to take the challenge: Simply...

-SHARE an ACT OF KINDNESS on social media that has been done for you & mark it with the Hashtag #AmericaIsKind

-TAG 3-5 friends and your favorite charity to take the #AmericaIsKind Challenge

-PAY IT FORWARD by doing a random act of kindness

Our theme today is Family, and our Charity of the Day is the Ronald McDonald House, the charitable organization by McDonald’s which helps keeps families close when they face the hospitalization of a sick child.

“The mission of RMHC is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families. Our vision is a world where all children have access to medical care, and their families are supported and actively involved in their children's care.”

Gratitude: “I am grateful for a parent, child, or grandchild in my life.”

Good: Use www.123Greetings.com to send a free e-card to your parent, child, (or all three!)

Good: On social media, tag special family members with the reasons you are grateful for them

Good: Share a fun or funny family memory online and tag those you love

Good: Pick up the phone and call your parent, child, (or all three!) just to say “I love you”

Good: Invite a person who lives far from their family to join your next dinner or gathering.

Good: Explore the mission and vision of the Ronald Mcdonald House, and consider making a donation to help other families today.

During the year I explored 30 religions, I found that KINDNESS and GRATITUDE are present in every faith. #AmericaIsKind remins us that in spite of our many differences, these qualities unite us .
