Like most bands, American metal band Five Finger Death Punch has had its share of ups and downs. But after a somewhat public meltdown at a show in the Netherlands earlier in the year, it became clear that some serious issues had to be addressed. Vocalist Ivan Moody checked himself into rehab for Alcoholism not long after, and has since returned to the band in full health. With a brand new album on the way, bassist Chris Kael feels that Moody and the band have come out of this ordeal stronger than it’s ever been. “He’s still Ivan Moody. He is able to connect with people on a certain level that very few people can do, very visceral, right down the center. He’s great at what he does and it’s damned good to have him back.”
