Films about high school football teams have practically become a genre of their own. We’ve seen sports programs overcome racism in in "Remember the Titans," families' lives changed for the better in "The Blind Side" and football-obsessed communities come together in "Friday Night Lights." It’s rare that a classic high school football team movie doesn’t involve some kind of personal transformation along with a team victory both on and off the field.
