7 People Got Totally Tongue-Tied After Trying Spanish Tongue Twisters

“Spanish tongue twisters are torture.”

Spanish tongue twisters are tricky. Take it from the seven people who tried tackling three tongue-tying phrases in the Pero Like video above.

For the challenge, English-speaking participants were tasked with reciting a few clever Spanish tongue twisters such as: "Tres tristes tigres tragan trigo en un trigal" and “Pancha plancha con cuatro planchas. ¿Cuantas planchas plancha Pancha?”

Many of the participants became completely tongue-tied during the challenge, and others started making up their own words, instead. But to their credit, Spanish tongue twisters are really hard, even for those who speak at least a little Spanish.

"It makes me sad that I don't even know what half those words mean, and I frickin', like, took Spanish my whole life," one woman remarked jokingly.
