For coffee lovers, it's hard to understand those who eschew it, especially in the mornings. Some of us, however, do betray our beloved beverage to limit our caffeine intake, for digestive reasons, or even just to see if we can go without it. Luckily, the Youtubers behind asapSCIENCE have some advice for how to wake up in the mornings without even a sip of coffee. Their video, "7 Tips To Wake Up Without Coffee" includes tricks like using sunlight to decrease your melatonin production, rehydrating, and eating a healthy breakfast. Even if you can't give up your morning Starbucks, don't ignore these tips.

Hitting the snooze button over and over in the morning isn't so good for your level of alertness. Having a set morning routine can help you wake up better. Incorporating a cold end to your shower in your routine, or making orange juice part of your everyday breakfast can create a great wake-up ritual to get you up and going. Staying hydrated, of course, is great all-day advice. AsapSCIENCE noted that we get dehydrated while we sleep, but other things throughout the day can also do the same. Keeping your body hydrated not only keeps you more alert, but improves the look of your skin, boosts your metabolism, and helps you stay healthy overall.

Whether or not you'll be sipping a latte in the a.m., if these tips can help you wake up happier, they're worth a try.
