Scarlett Dennis, 7th Grader, Supports Gay Marriage In Awesome Animated Video

WATCH: This Talented 7th Grader Is Our Hero

If there's one thing we love here at HuffPost Gay Voices, it's seeing the passion and talent of young activists in the making -- and this Los Angeles middle schooler certainly fits the bill.

In a video that appears to have been uploaded by her teacher, 7th grader Scarlett Dennis created an amazing animated short that perfectly encapsulates the love and resilience of same-sex couples in the face of adversity.

Dennis' one-minute stop-motion animated video illustrates the question on many of our minds: "Why is it in this country that a heterosexual couple who have just met can get married but a homosexual couple who have been in love for years cannot?"

Check out the video above. Bravo, Scarlett!
