Students spend almost as much time during the school day with their teachers as they do with their friends –- if not more. Needless to say, teachers plays a huge role in not just what we learn in high school, but who we grow up to be. Just as we can take valuable life lessons from our favorite high school required reading books, sometimes our teachers can make a lasting mark on our lives, too.

And it's no different in our favorite TV shows and movies. From Mr. Feeny to Professor McGonagall, fictional teachers can grow on us as much as the characters they guide through high school. As these teachers impart wisdom on young and impressionable minds, we can also learn a thing or two from their wisdom.
