Chinese Man Proposes With Dress Made Of 9,999 Roses (PHOTO)

PHOTOS: A Dress Made Of 9,999 Roses

A man in China proposed to his girlfriend on Valentine's Day. Pretty standard, right?

Not in this case: the Romeo first stipulated that his girlfriend be wearing a dress made of 9,999 roses stitched together when he popped the question.

Xiao Fan had dressmakers work furiously to churn out the dress, which features a five-foot train and which his now-fiancee Yin Mi, who was crowned Miss Bikini 2009 in China, topped with a fur shrug.

Fan then proposed at the Guangzhou Chime-Long Paradise, where the couple first met. We're assuming (hoping!) that after all that fuss, Mi said yes.

The number 9,999 is a lucky number in Chinese culture; bodies are often buried with that number of coins.

Surprisingly, this isn't the only outlandish roses dress that got crafted this Valentine's Day. A company called Asda just released a dress made of 2,000 roses, but obviously, they lost the numbers game.

What we want to know is: can you get it dry-cleaned?
