A Bird Ballet: Short Film By Neels Castillon Captures Amazing Flight Patterns At Sunset (VIDEO)

In a short video titled "A Bird Ballet," Neels Castillon captures the dance-like arrangements of a flock of starlings, moving in unison across the sun-streaked sky of Marseille, France. Why is this video so popular, you ask? You'll have to see it to believe it:

Castillon's talks about how he made the film on his website:

"We were shooting for a commercial with my D.O.P, waiting for a helicopter flying into the sunset, when thousands and thousands of birds came and made this incredible dance in the sky. It was amazing, we just forgot our job and started this little piece of poetry..."

The video is made that much better by the calming soundtrack, titled, "Hand-made" by Alt-J.

What do you think, readers -- are you a fan of the bird ballet?
