A Cause to Pause on the UES

I was walking on the upper east side the other day and I was stopped in my tracks, I think a lot of people were. As you approached E. 51st Street on Lexington Avenue, this was the scene.
There's a small construction project being done on the sidewalk outside Dos Caminos restaurant and as you walk, you come upon these cool black and white affirmations.
The construction company paid the artist, De La Vega, to create these. It's really something special to come upon as you're making your way through the city. It does cause you to pause; to stop and reflect.
