On a night in which many Super Bowl commercials trolled President Donald Trump, It’s A 10 Haircare perhaps succeeded best in getting into his head. Or, rather, on it.
The company messed with his much-discussed hair in an eye-catching 30-second spot.
While we see a diverse montage of citizens rocking their own ‘dos, the narrator says: “America, we’re in for at least four years of awful hair. So it’s up to you to do your part by making up for it with great hair.”
“It was poking fun but more importantly it was showing the diversity that makes up America,” It’s A 10 Haircare founder and CEO Carolyn Aronson told The Huffington Post on Monday. “We’re perfectly imperfect.”
Aronson said her company isn’t political but wanted to introduce the world to her brand in a lighthearted way. “It’s just a really great way to remind people that they should remember to laugh.”
