A Quick Note to Mr. Romney

I happen to be gay and I am now engaged to a man, intending to marry him in the near future. I am interested in knowing whether or not you believe that, given my sexual orientation, I am still entitled to continue being a father to my children. If not, then please explain why not.

Dear Mr. Romney:

I am a divorced father of two wonderful children, the offspring resulting from an eight-year marriage to a woman. I also happen to be gay and I am now engaged to a man, intending to marry him in the near future. I am interested in knowing whether or not you believe that, given my sexual orientation, I am still entitled to continue being a father to my children. If not, then please explain why not.

In the case the opposite is true, and you believe that my God given right to be a father to my children (despite my sexual orientation) is sacrosanct, why are my circumstances any different from that of any other gay parent?

Your prompt reply is appreciated, hopefully, before the forthcoming elections.

Sincerely,
