It's hard to believe it's been 10 years since Aaliyah died in a plane crash in the Bahamas, on her way back from recording the music video for "Rock the Boat." At just 22, she had already been in the music business for 10 years. Aaliyah was in the prime of her musical career at the time of her death, collaborating with the likes of Missy Elliott and Timbaland, and gaining ground in film as well. Her first major film, "Romeo Must Die," also featured one of her biggest singles, "Try Again," and she went on to act in "Queen of the Damned" before her untimely passing. Her final album, Aaliyah, was released in July of 2011.
