7 Stars Who Should Be Cast As Lead In Aaliyah's Lifetime Biopic

Just weeks following a debate surrounding the production of Whitney Houston’s forthcoming biopic, the Lifetime Network has once again landed itself back in the hot seat with another casting choice. This time for the announcement of their developing Aaliyah film.

Critics have blasted the network over their decision to cast recording artist and Disney Channel star, Zendaya, as lead in the biopic which will be filmed this summer and is scheduled to air this fall. To add insult to injury, the late singer’s family also isn't in support of the project.

Although the cable network’s casting decision appears to be final, many people felt Zendaya wasn't the best choice. We reached out to our audience to find out who folks felt would be the ideal candidate to portray the “4 Page Letter" songstress and here are the responses we got.
