Aaron Carter Responds To Hilary Duff's Comments About His Undying Love For Her

Because we must be living in some kind of time warp, the Aaron Carter-Hilary Duff love saga continues.

Carter has responded to comments Duff recently made to Buzzfeed about the singer's repeated public declarations of love for her.

"He does, I keep seeing that, that he keeps doing that," Duff said. "I don’t know how I feel. I mean, that was so long ago, and obviously I’m still married, and I have a baby and we kind of just … don’t know each other."

Carter remarked on Duff's apparent disinterest in his advances, telling Wenn, "If I'm too open about how I feel then people wanna nag and pick and poke at me," he said. "I don't know Hilary either. She don't know me and I don't know her. I just need to shut up now about it. I think it's time."

"She's got a kid and she's married and I'm not trying to be that dude," he continued. "That's not my intention. Hilary will always hold a very special place in my heart."

Alright, well now that that's cleared up -- sort of -- we can all go back to dreaming about this "Lizzie McGuire" reunion actually becoming a reality.
