Aaron Craft Shot: Ohio State Beats Iowa State In Final Second (VIDEO/GIF)

WATCH: Last-Second Winner!

After Ohio State inbounded the ball against Iowa State with 29 seconds remaining and the score level at 75, Jim Nantz of CBS wondered "Is it buzzer beater time in the tournament?"

Not quite.

With the final seconds ticking off the clock in a tie game between No. 2 Ohio State and No. 10 Iowa State, Aaron Craft drained a three-point shot to send the Buckeyes into the next round. The junior guard let his right hand hang in the air as the shot fell through the net and his teammates celebrated on the bench.

Officials determined that Craft's shot went in with 0.5 seconds remaining, allowing Iowa State a chance for a miracle to force overtime. Korie Lucious received the inbounds pass on the final play for Iowa State but Craft defended his errant heave as the buzzer sounded.

"I hope that one day they put a statue of him in front of our building," Ohio State coach Thad Matta said of Craft to CBS on the court after the game.

No. 2 Ohio State advances to face No. 6 Arizona in the West Region.

For those Buckeyes fans (or just those who needed an Ohio State win for bracket purposes), here is a GIF of the game-winning shot to relive the moment again and again ... and then some more.
