Aaron Fotheringham may need to use a wheelchair, but he hasn't let that stop him from being a backflipping badass. The 24-year-old Guinness World Record holder was, in fact, the first to perform a backflip in a wheelchair.

And Fotheringham -- who was born with spina bifida, a birth defect of the spinal cord -- hasn't stopped there. The extreme athlete's tricks, adapted from both skateboarding and BMX, have made him a fixture at the Vegas AmJam skateboard competition, where he competes against fully abled BMX riders in a custom-made, neon-colored wheelchair.
