Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had harsh words for a fan that used a moment of silence for the victims of last week's Paris attacks to shout out an anti-Islamic slur.

An unknown fan bellowed the anti-Muslim comment across the stadium just before Sunday's matchup between the Packers and the Detroit Lions. Michigan Live reports the comment was loud enough for Rodgers to hear.

"I must admit I was very disappointed with whoever the fan was that made a comment that was very inappropriate during the moment of silence," Rodgers said during his postgame remarks. "It's that kind of prejudicial ideology that puts us in the position we are today as a world."

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had asked teams to hold moments of silence league-wide before games on Sunday, and the French flag was on display inside numerous stadiums.

Many Muslims in France, the European Union and the United States have said they're bracing for conflict over the terror attacks that killed at least 129 people. Several officials have called for a reevaluation of border security amid the ongoing migrant crisis, which some analysts say may be exactly what the Islamic State wants.
