ABC News Promotes 'Good Morning America' Executive Producers James Goldston, Tom Cibrowski

ABC News Announces Changes

"Good Morning America" is getting a new senior executive producer, ABC News announced on Thursday.

In a statement, network president Ben Sherwood announced that "Good Morning America" senior executive producer James Goldston and executive producer Tom Cibrowski will both be promoted.

Goldston will become senior vice president for content and development. He will oversee the network's programs and executive producers, as well develop new shows. He was formerly a news producer for ITV, and executive producer of "Nightline."

Cibrowski will move up to senior executive producer of "Good Morning America." He joined the program in 2002, having launched his career at ABC News as a desk assistant.

On Thursday, Sherwood praised the two, as well as their work on the network's morning show in the past year. "As you all know, the results have been excellent: the strongest competitive position versus Today in many years and a tremendous on-air and off-air team," he wrote.
