According to Planned Parenthood statistics show that 3 out of 10 women in the USA will have an abortion. So when is it really too late to abort? Yogi, mystic, visionary, humanitarian, speaker and New York Times Best Selling Author of “Inner Engineering - A Yogi’s Guide to Joy”, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, believes it is best not to abort from 40 days after conception.

In his earlier book, “Mystic’s Musings”, Sadhguru likens a woman’s womb to a nest. The potential new life will be drawn towards a suitable womb. Similar to if someone has a tendency towards sitting towards the front or the rear of the movie theatre, for example – the potential new life has its own predispositions. It is believed that the energy being enters the womb at around 40-48 days after conception.

Prior to this time what is in the womb is only cells with no karmic substance at all, according to Sadhguru. Interestingly, he believes that in addition to the mother’s health, the quality of the energy of the unborn baby is instrumental in manifesting its own physical condition. He explains that there are millions of examples of perfectly healthy women giving birth to fragile babies and paradoxically under-nourished women giving birth to healthy babies.

If you trust Sadhguru’s razor-sharp wisdom, the more spiritual work you do in this life, the higher vibrancy your karmic structure will have and the more choice you will have when gravitating towards a new womb for your next lifetime.

Sadhguru’s Isha Foundation offers free meditation and yoga tools for well-being. You can watch his lectures and discourses via youtube here.
