San Francisco fetish porn company Kink.com has captured the attention of many over the years: James Franco, Groupon, The War On Illegal Pornography. And this September, it will get an even larger audience with Stephen Elliott's new film, "About Cherry."

Starring James Franco, Heather Graham and Ashley Hinshaw, the film chronicles the troubled journey of a young woman through San Francisco's fetish pornography industry. "About Cherry" debuted at the Berlin Film Festival before screening to a sold-out crowd at the San Francisco International Film Festival earlier this year.

"I've known for a long time that I wanted to write a story about Kink.com," co-writer and director Elliott told The Huffington Post. "There's no place like it in the world."

Kink.com is housed within San Francisco's 250,000-square-foot Armory building and is the largest producer of fetish and BDSM pornography in the world. "The Internet has really diversified pornography, and when it comes to alternative porn, porn for women and queer porn, Kink dominates," said Elliott.

The experience even inspired Franco to launch a documentary about the company. "There's this amazing facility in San Francisco," he told Conan O'Brien about Kink. "It's at this old armory and they do everything in house; they build the props in house. So I'm making a documentary about that. It's an incredible place."
