How cool would it be if a band were to write a song about you?
What if you didn't know anyone in the band and they lived in another country thousands of miles away from you?
How about if the only time anyone in the band ever saw you was when you competed on "Jeopardy" four years ago?
That's exactly what happened in the case of the song "Buzz In (Abra Belke)," an ode from the Canadian band Tooth-Gnasher Superflash to NRA lobbyist, former legislative assistant to Rep. Denny Rehberg and the woman behind the popular Capitol Hill Style blog, Abra Belke.

Belke's 2009 appearance on the popular game show "Jeopardy" left at least one member of the three-piece band, named for the Reading Rainbow tale about a car that does extraordinary tricks, smitten and prompted the group to pen the bluegrass tune, which was recorded on video in April for "The Week Thus Far," a late-night talk-show written and produced by Manitoba area comedians.
"You'll find when you watch 'Jeopardy' a large percentage of the people are smart looking, not extremely attractive. This lady was smoking!" explains the band's lead singer to laughs from the audience. The singer goes on to say that the song is about Belke specifically.
Belke caught wind of the video yesterday when the people at "The Week Thus Far" tweeted the video at her. "I didn't even want to watch it at first," Belke told the Huffington Post. "I sent it to a couple of friends and was like, 'Can you screen this for me please?' And they came back and said, "No! It's really catchy and it's funny and it's super cute!"
And her final verdict: "I like it. I think it's hysterical," Belke explained.
Her only issue with the song is that they mispronounce her name. "The Canadians didn't pronounce it correctly, surprise."
Belke was a contestant on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" in 2011, perhaps a band in another country will write a song about her appearance on that game show four years after it airs.
Until then we'll have to make due with just one song from one band who hope to "wager it all on Abra Belke."
