What Happens When Your Abuelita Gets Her Hands On Your Pokemon Go

"Pica que? Te pica que?"

By now everyone and their mother has spent weeks trying to catch ‘em all, which means it’s time for abuelita to get in on a little bit of that Pokémon Go action, too.

The funny people at MiTu posted a video July 14 giving Latinos a taste of the many hilarious ways grandma might react to some of the little monster’s names.

“Charmander, like the Charmin Ultra?” she says at the beginning in Spanish.

Abuelita then seems particularly perplexed by Pickachu, whose name sounds a lot like “kachup” (aka ketchup) or like a sneeze and an itch. Once she moves on to other Pokémon like Vaporeon, Cubone, Tauros (yup, look out for Walter Mercado) and Butterfree ― she’s completely hooked.

And no, abuelita. They’re not giving butter away for free...
