Deadly Shooting At Texas High School

Police say a shooter is dead and another is person injured.

A female is dead and another injured at a west Texas high school following a shooting, police said.

Alpine High School in Alpine, southeast of El Paso, was placed on lockdown early Thursday, police said.

The shooter died from a self-inflicted wound, Brewster County Sheriff Ronny Dodson told ABC News. At least one other person was injured and taken to a hospital.
