Can you really have it all? Yes, yes...we know. It's about balance. But, it is so much more than that. Actresses and full-time moms, Alex Meneses, who plays Isabella opposite Eva Longoria on NBC's Telenovela, and Wynn Everett, who plays Whitney Frost on ABC's Agent Carter, talk about what is essential on this first episode of The Dinner Party with Elysabeth Alfano web series.
As with most episodes and podcasts of The Dinner Party, Wynn and Alex had never met before, joining me at the Sunset Marquis for the first time for dinner. You'd never know it from this video! These dynamic veterans of Hollywood dish and spill about what has made it possible for them to juggle motherhood, family and high profile careers in TV and film.
Quoting Bette Davis, Alex aptly notes, "Hollywood ain't for wimps," and we quickly discuss brass tacks about knowing what you want, setting priorities, getting roles in Hollywood as older actresses and letting the power of your art speak stronger than the fear of aging. However, it's not all stories from the front lines, and we also chat on love lives, favorite snacks and pajama bottoms.
