Adam Lambert's Facial Hair Dissed ByMagazine

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is calling for Twitter users to speak out to GQ magazine, after the men's style publication's criticism of pop singer Adam Lambert's facial hair.

Earlier today, GQ tweeted:

The tweet was a reference to Lambert's April appearance in Hollywood, during which the openly gay star appeared with facial hair, which the magazine named among its "best and worst" style moments of the year (presumably the latter). "If you wear make-up, do not grow a mustache," the caption under Lambert's picture reads on the magazine's site.

In response to GQ's tweet, GLAAD noted:

Lambert, whose facial hair has been a hot topic in the blogosphere for some time, has thus far not replied to any of the tweets.
