Huffington Post Associate Editor Adam Rose went on ESPN this afternoon to discuss the ways in which the University of Southern California is responding to sanctions imposed on it by the NCAA earlier this year for violating athletic recruitment rules.

When asked the significance of USC's decision to remove all items related to tainted former USC athletes O.J. Mayo and Reggie Bush from the athletic department, Rose said, "For USC fans it should be cathartic. And for the program, institutionally, it's a very good sign.
