Not all stories of addiction have happy endings, and while Theresa's story may not be over yet, the chapter spotlighted on "Addicted" ended in a place of disappointment for both her and her family. Theresa is an alcoholic who can't get a handle on her addiction, and even broke her promise to go in for treatment.
"I promised I would go in today," she admitted, "Really don’t know if really I’m worth it."
She arrived drunk and ultimately decided she wouldn't stay. It was a heartbreaking moment for bot her children and her parents, who were really hoping this could be the turnaround she needed.
Counselor Kristina Wandzilak tweeted that while she got a message from Theresa once after filming, she hasn't heard from her since.
She followed this up by writing, "Theresa’s mom and brother are watching the show at my house. They are healing and learning to let go."
