Adele Rocks 'Today Show' With Soul-Baring New Song 'Million Years Ago'

Round of applause for being this amazing so early in the morning.

And a Happy Thanksgiving to us all.

Adele visited "The Today Show" on Wednesday morning to perform her new song, "Million Years Ago," for the first time live in the US. *NSYNC's new nemesis brought the house down with the ballad, the ninth track off her album "25," which showcases the singer's lower register. Adele sat down with "Today Show" host Matt Lauer before her performance to reveal how she's remained so grounded in the face of wild success and what seems like universal adoration.

"It's pretty overwhelming, but it's incredible," she told Lauer. "I feel like I kind of knew what I was getting into this time because I had experienced the success of '21.' Plus, I've got a kid, which is the most grounding thing, as I'm sure any parent will know."

The British singer has been dominating airwaves and TV screens during the promotional tour for her new album. She most recently visited "The Tonight Show," where she sang "Hello" with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots accompanied by musical instruments you might find in a child's classroom.

You have to see it to believe it.
