It's Too Hot Outside, And These Cute Pups Just Can't Keep Their Eyes Open

Just let 'em sleep.

Usually, it strikes later in the evening. But sometimes it hits in the middle of the afternoon.

You’re fed. You may have changed into something more comfortable. And suddenly you get an urge ― the overwhelming urge ― to lie down and... SLEEP.

The puppies in this People video know that urge all too well. Watch their eyes droop and their heads bounce, screaming for sleep.

We’ve all been there, but that doesn’t mean we need to be as droopy as these pups.

If it’s not time for bed yet, getting some exercise, hydrating with a big glass of water, or listening to upbeat music can boost energy levels, concentration and alertness. And as long as it’s not too close to bedtime, a 20- or 30-minute nap can boost alertness, productivity, creativity and memory ― and may even help lessen the effects of a poor night’s sleep by lowering stress levels and promoting immune health.

But if you look as tired as these pups, let them be an adorable reminder that you might just need to hit the pillow.
