I want young women to know that their job is to do what they love, and it's their choice. The most important thing you can do when you make your decisions is make the most opportunity you can.

If you are doing something you love, you'll make it work. Don't go off that path you love because you think, as a mother, you won't be able to do that. You'll be able to do lots of great stuff as a mother. Don't compromise now.

Let's say you choose at some point that you don't want to be in the professional world. It's a decision you're entitled to. You should make it for the right reasons.

But if you make the decision that says you want to be very senior in the company, you want to be CEO, then you have to do the things that get you there, and you have to make those decisions.

I never liked anyone telling me, "No, you can't." There was a part of me that said: "Why shouldn't a woman be able to do what a woman wants to do?" It just seems so basic.
